Kotaku writes: This shouldn't come as a surprise, really. But game creator Fumito Ueda mentioned The Last Guardian in this week's issue of Dengeki PlayStation. And from the sound of it, the game could be headed to the PS4. Dengeki PlayStation polled numerous developers about, well, PlayStation. Questions included asking them what their most memorable title on the platform was. Ueda replied, "The Last Guardian, by which I mean all the hardships and the unforeseen amount of time required than what was originally thought."

In addition to revealing details on how to buy the recently revealed 20th anniversary PlayStation 4, the publisher plans to drop some bombs, perhaps concerning unrevealed titles or games weve heard about that mysteriously vanished. As per every Sony event, The Last Guardian hype is real.

Lets start off with the elephant in the room, Team Icos Last Guardian. Ever since E3 2009 people have been fascinated with Team Icos project to an unhealthy degree. Every year people truly believe that Sony will resurrect the project and show it to the masses, unfortunately Sony has not brought the game to any press conference since E3 2009 and it will probably remain that way for the foreseeable future. The reason for this is because The Last Guardian is like the Royal Flush of press conferences, if Sony ever were to show it, the momentum of any of other companies E3 conference would be completely eviscerated.
